Project Updates

Howdy, Party!

Yesterday was an exciting day at the Warren! Packages just kept coming in and - wow - these things look PRETTY! Randomica: d100 Trinket Tables from our recent Kickstarter was our first physical product with DriveThruRPG. We had to wait a bit for the physical proof to arrive, and we were pretty impressed with the quality. It just might be better than the printer that produces our physical copies of Warren Magazine. We are going to have them produce one for us so we can stack the two against one another. We'll keep you updated! Now that we have approved the proof, it should only take another day or two for them to activate it for publication and then we can start sending out the details on redeeming your physical copies (for those that backed that level of the Kickstarter).

Backers of the Vertigo campaign for Warren Magazine have already begun receiving their issues! The only people waiting on them are those that received more than just the issue (buttons, prints, etc). Those issues came to us so we could bundle everything together to ship. Orders will be packaged this week, so you should receive them shortly! Unfortunately, the Legendary Me - Vertigo Kickstarter Exclusive books all came in damaged. The printers did not think it was important to put packing material in a box that was too large for the contents. So everything got crushed. Replacements will take 6-8 WEEKS! So we will not wait any longer, and just ship what we have. Once the replacements arrive, we will ship those out. Our apologies if you are one of those that got this.

Nocturne, the spooky issue of Warren Magazine is in the final edits of the project. Like, final stretch stuff! Hopefully we will send stuff off to the printers in the next week or so. Here are a couple of shots from the issue! Note that the second image is two different images spliced together. In case you actually try to read it and see that it doesn't make sense from one page to the next.

Our next issue of Warren Magazine is Horizons. Our original timeline had us set to release at the end of this year, but here we are and we are still wrapping issue three. We are just going to try to coast through the rest of the year and hit it strong with Horizons now moving to a March 2025 release. This gives us plenty of time to wrap the project, market it more effectively, and give DriveThruRPG another go with a more substantial project. Another bonus with Horizons is we have most of it already written! All that is left is editing, art, and formatting. Great time to reset our production schedule. And with two new members of the WereRabbit ream to help us out, the process should be streamlined for your enjoyment. We plan to launch the Kickstarter campaign for Horizons on January 1st, 2025!

Lastly, we rand another test on DriveThruRPG with another Randomica title - Verbum Imperium: 1100 Command Words for Any Occasion. Admittedly, it only really works with Fifth Edition, but if you have a spicy Game Master and they let you expand on the spell Command, then you may enjoy this project. It is a series of 11x d100 tables for different types of scenarios where you may want to use the Command spell. Each list has 100 words and their intended effects. Some words appear on more than one list, but there are about 900 unique words and the overlap is nominal. You have words for combat, political situations, emotional manipulation, psychological commands, etc. It's pretty in-depth. I have received some critical feedback about some of the more abstract words like "aspire," but remember that commands, like all things in TTRPGs, do not occur in a vacuum. Context is key, and the situation can provide a backdrop for the command. A bard with performance anxiety may need to be COMMANDED to aspire to greatness, giving him the courage to get out there and play his heart out! Just use your imagination. I have faith in you. Check it out! According to DriveThruRPG, it's on of our hottest titles!

As always, we can't thank you enough for your patience and support! Our numbers have been increasing steadily and it is exciting to see so many people enjoying our creations. Thanks!
