About Us

WereRabbit Press was founded in 2020 as a response to a couple of nerds wanting to see their projects come to life. Our first project? A webcomic called Balastar & Greg - the touching story of a wizard and his ooze. As an independent publishing company. we are dedicated to creating original content for fans of fantasy, sci-fi, and everything in between! While most of our material is designed for use within Fifth Edition tabletop roleplaying games, occasionally we step out of line and come up with something altogether different.

If you are like us, however, and you cannot simply abide the ideations of other nerds, we're here for you, too! We endeavor to assist others in creating quality material for their audiences as well! If you have a project that you would like to bring to market, let us know! We'd love to geek for you.

About Derrick

Derrick “Captain Dutz” Utz is a creative nerd who enjoys artistic escapades through comics and games. He has been drawing most of his life and has been a professional designer for almost 15 years. His love of comics and storytelling drove his initial romps into illustration and from that grew a passion of heroes, children’s stories, table top games and science fiction art. He can be found buried under loose sheets of excellent quality hot press paper (that his amazing wife found for a deal online) or fending off his art supplies from his determined doodling daughter whom somehow still finds ways to nab his pencils and eraser sticks when he isn’t looking, lol.

 

Derrick lives in Texas with wife, two kiddos, dogs, cat, sugar gliders and whatever other creatures that seem to be attracted to the zoo they call home. About Harvey

A purveyor of pop culture, Harvey Moreno loves writing, comic books, and Dungeons & Dragons. The quintessential Eternal Dungeon Master, he started playing D&D in 1992 and fully embraced the DM role with Fifth Edition. As co-founder of WereRabbit Press, he creates imaginative content for tabletop RPGs, known for their high quality and engaging storytelling. His work reflects his deep passion for creating immersive gaming experiences.

Originally from Southern California, Harvey now lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife, kids, and a few furbabies.

Harvey continues to blend his artistic and narrative skills in his projects with Fancy Pants Studios.
